Welcome to the Brass Quintet Repertoire Database, an ongoing project to publish the most comprehensive listing of music written for brass quintet since the invention of modern brass instruments. The information in the database is built on the contents of a doctoral project by Bill Jones which was digitized by former ABQ horn player David Wakefield. Joel Brennan later restructered the data, updated it, and built a web interface so that it can continue to expand and grow through user contributions. With your help and input, the database will become a more complete and accurate resource.
You may browse and search the site without signing in, but we encourage you to make a free account: this will enable you to make contributions to the database and bookmark pieces you discover on the site. Once you have registered for an account and signed in, you can begin to contribute. To submit new composers, works, publishers, or ensembles to the database, use the links in the main 'database' menu. To submit corrections to the database, or to submit a recording for a work, click the edit icons at the top of the page you would like to edit.
